Job Description	to mobilize fruits & vegetables from Ooty to SPAR's prescribed destinations. a) tie up suitable farmers/vendors from Nilgiris ,to SPAR ,to ensure continuous supply of locally available fruits & vegetables. This is to be done by the "Vendor Registration Process" put up by SPAR for its regular transactions. b) put up suitable logistic network to reach the produce to SPAR on a periodic basis.The freight will be paid for by SPAR or its registered vendor. c) ensure that the best of produce is delivered to SPAR, adhering to the purchase prices prescribed by SPAR from time to time. d) to ensure that the quality of material received at SPAR is compliant to SPAR standards d) also ensure that the produce is properly packed at the vendor/ farmer's place as per the standards prescribed by SPAR from time to time. However the responsibility of packing the product will lie with the vendor/farmer. e) give day to day updates on the wet market prices at Ooty. f) Follow up for vendor/farmer payments with SPAR on a regular basis. Such payments will be directly sent from SPAR to the supplier as cheques.
