o Experience in Real-time control system development.
o Experience in development of HMI and controller interface systems.
o Experience with new controls algorithm development and implementation and validation techniques as required for electro-mechanical systems.
o Knowledge of controls related sensors and actuators.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Support design and implementation of control & HMI algorithms for new product development programs, as well as modification of existing Turbine & Plant Controller, SCADA & HMI SW packages.
o Work in close collaborations with other teams to define new and robust conceptual controls strategies, down-select to the best system solution, and implement these solutions into the products.
o Design, implementation and debugging of controller code in Matlab/Simulink & ToolboxST environments.
o Conduct lab simulations using Software in the Loop (SIL), Processor in the Loop (PIL), and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) tools to validate SW design capabilities.
o Conduct field validation tests and data analysis from validation tests.
o Support various program tollgate reviews and create appropriate design and review documentation.
o Support in resolution of fleet issues with appropriate RCA efforts, and SW design change and code modifications.
o Support in the release of new controller/HMI/SCADA SW packages.
